Predator New Mutant X-AT Tires

The Predator New Mutant X-AT is the all-terrain member of the New Mutant family, built for light trucks and SUVs that want aggressive styling with more civilized road manners than the X-RT delivers. It is backed by a 50,000-mile limited treadwear warranty.

The tread is a versatile all-terrain pattern built with staggered blocks, zigzag sipes, and open shoulder grooves that give it confident grip on wet roads, dirt, gravel, and loose ground. Between the lugs, integrated stone ejectors clear out debris to prevent stone retention and protect the casing from damage. A reinforced sidewall construction adds durability under heavy loads or towing stress, while dual sidewall designs let you choose the exact look that suits your build. The Predator New Mutant X-AT is especially popular in 275/60R20, 275/65R18, 35X12.50R20, 33X12.50R22 and LT285/65R20.

If you are choosing between the X-AT and the X-RT, the difference is exactly what the letters suggest. The X-AT trades some extreme off-road bite for noticeably better pavement behavior: less hum, better wet composure, and easier daily driving. If your truck spends most of its life on asphalt and only sees dirt on weekends, the X-AT is the more sensible tire. If the truck is built for the trail and the look is the primary point, the X-RT is the one.

Two things to know about the warranty before you buy. Predator requires documented rotations at least every five thousand miles on light truck tires for the treadwear coverage to hold, so keep the service records. And if your vehicle runs a staggered fitment where the front and rear tires are different sizes, the rear tires are covered at only half the stated mileage, because they cannot be rotated.

Best-suited for: Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Ram 1500, Toyota Tacoma, Jeep Wrangler, Toyota Tundra, GMC Sierra, Ford Bronco.
