Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP Tires

The Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP is an aggressive hybrid-terrain tire for Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs, engineered to bridge the gap between all-terrain road manners and mud-terrain trail capability. Backed by a 50,000-mile limited treadwear warranty, it delivers a bold, classic off-road stance backed by modern race-proven chemistry.

The engineering behind the Baja Legend EXP centers on versatility. Its tread uses Mickey Thompson’s proprietary T4 silica-reinforced compound, which provides exceptional resistance to cutting and chipping on jagged gravel while improving wet pavement braking. Large surface-area tread blocks paired with wide outer voids give deep bite in mud, dirt, and loose rock, complemented by multi-directional siping for slick-surface traction. Beneath the rubber, a high-tensile body-ply construction gives the casing the durability required to air down safely over rocks and roots, while aggressive Sidebiters® on the upper sidewall protect against trail hazards and deliver extra lateral grip in deep ruts.

Be realistic about maintenance and category expectations. As an aggressive hybrid tire, it is louder on pavement than a standard all-terrain and will develop more hum over time if neglected. To preserve its smooth ride and reach the 50,000-mile target, have the set road force balanced rather than spin balanced, re-torque the lug nuts after the first 50 to 100 miles, and rotate every 5,000 miles to prevent uneven shoulder wear.

Best-suited for: Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator, Ford F-150 and F-250, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and 2500, Ram 1500 and 2500, Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Tundra.
