The Trazano CM986 is a commercial drive-axle tire for medium-duty trucks on 19.5-inch wheels: box trucks, chassis-cab service bodies and delivery trucks. Trazano is a brand of ZC Rubber (Zhongce Rubber Group). The same tread is also sold as the Westlake CM986.

The tread is a symmetric block design with open shoulders. The shoulders clear mud and slush from the footprint, and dense siping adds biting edges for traction on wet and wintry roads. The compound is specified to resist chunking, cuts and abrasion, which matters in urban and regional work where tires scrub against curbs and turn tight under load. The casing is designed for retreading, so a well-maintained casing can come back for a second tread life. In the 245/70R19.5 size it is load range H (16-ply rating) and carries 4,938 lbs per tire on a single axle (load index 136/134) at 120 psi, with an M speed rating (81 mph). The 225/70R19.5 size is load range G (14-ply rating).

For fleets, the deciding question is cost per mile, not price per tire. A retreadable casing lowers the long-run cost only if it reaches the retreader in good shape. That means correct inflation, matched dual pairs and pulling the tire while the casing is still sound.
