Trazano CR960A 11R24.5 H/16PLY

Trazano CR960A Product Description

The Trazano CR960A 11R24.5 H/16PLY Tires is a Commercial Truck - Steer tire. Manufacturer part number: 314583HT.

The Trazano CR960A is a rib-pattern commercial truck tire built for steer use, offered in sizes from 17.5-inch to 24.5-inch wheels. It covers medium-duty trucks on 17.5 and 19.5 as well as heavy-duty tractors and straight trucks on 22.5 and 24.5. Trazano is a brand of ZC Rubber (Zhongce Rubber Group), and the same pattern is also sold under the Westlake and Goodride names.

The design is a straight-rib highway pattern. Straight ribs force water out of the footprint and give the steer axle a precise, stable feel. Cross-rib sipes add biting edges for control on wet roads. A closed shoulder is the key to tread life on a steer tire: with no open slots at the edge, the shoulder resists irregular wear, which is what keeps a steer tire smooth and in service longer. The tread is designed for low rolling resistance. Most sizes are load range H (16-ply rating), with one in G (14-ply rating), and speed ratings from J (62 mph) to M (81 mph) depending on size.

The question with a steer tire is how evenly it wears. The CR960A answers with its closed shoulder, and correct alignment and pressure let it deliver that even wear mile after mile.

Best-suited for: Medium-duty box trucks and chassis cabs on 17.5 and 19.5 wheels, and Class 8 tractors and straight trucks on 22.5 and 24.5 wheels in highway and regional service.
